History/Art Integration
The Silk Road was a network of trade routes connecting the East and West from 2nd century BCE to the 18th century. It was central to the economic, cultural, political, and religious intersections between these regions.
• Open to students in Grade 6-12.
• Create artwork that represents the Silk Road that is no larger than 12” x 18” in dimension.
• Put your name, phone number, school, and grade level on the back of the artwork.
• Bring artwork to Vibrant Minds Charter School at 412 W. Carl Karcher Way, Anaheim, by Monday, April 24, at 4:00 p.m., for inclusion in the exhibit.
• All participants will receive a certificate of participation.
• There will be prizes for the top three entries of $75, $50, and $25.
