The Interfaith Youth Council of Orange County under the Interfaith Youth Alliance is having its kick-off meeting for our youth leadership board on Sunday, October 9 from 2:30-4:30pm at the Shinnyo-en Buddhist Temple in Yorba Linda.
We hope that you could help us identify 2-3 youth from your community that would be interested in engaging in interfaith dialogue with youth from other religious and worldview traditions, learn leadership skills, and engage in community service.
We also have an opportunity to collaborate with The Spirituality Project for students to earn scholarship funds by being Story Gatherers. Attached you will find an information sheet. Students will earn $50 for collecting and submitting 5 spiritual stories. With opportunities to earn more as they collect more.
